Since version 2.7, Pad includes a Clip library feature.
Important note: Pad 4 includes a new, much more powerful Clip manager engine. Therefore the old Clip libraries will not work in Pad 4.
Among Pad's most outstanding features is the Clip manager. This tool manages not only text snippets, but also includes a powerful script language. You can use it as a macro player, simply put text snippets into the document or surrounding the current selection.
Also, includes 60+ procedures to display input, or prompt dialog boxes, run other tools or manipulate strings. The use of variables and conditional execution are both fully supported.
You can create/edit Clip libraries directly in Pad.
To use a Clip library, download one of the following by right-clicking it, selecting "Save link as..." and saving it to the
[Pad folder]\Clips directory. Now right-click the Clip manager drop-down list, click "Update list" (if Pad is already open) and
select it from the drop-down list.
If you created a clip library, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
